Trauma Informed Practices in ECE
Session 1 of this series will cover the effects of various forms of trauma and toxic stress in early childhood, children’s brain development in the first five years, and the impact of traumatic stress on children’s brain and overall development.
In this training you will learn to:
- Identify the different challenges, behaviors, triggers and reactions that children with experiences of trauma/traumatic stress display
- Apply key strategies that support children and build their resiliency to reduce the adverse effects of early trauma
- Develop a plan for incorporating trauma strategies for children in your care
