Preventing Burnout

Session 2 of this series will discuss an overview of Compassion Fatigue and the importance of preventing burnout. Participants will learn how to engage in self-care when caring for young children who have experienced trauma.

In this training you will:

  • Learn how to use the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) index to understand your own background with trauma and its impact in your current work with children
  • Explore strategies you can use to support yourself when working with high needs children and families

You must attend the Trauma 101 to attend Preventing Burnout or Trauma Reflective Group.

*Participants who attend Trauma 101 will be given the opportunity to register for Preventing Burnout and/or Trauma Reflective Group after completing Trauma 101*
