Child Care Application for Essential Workers

If your child is identified as one of the at-risk populations: 

  • Children identified as receiving Child Protective Services or at-risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation 
  • Families experiencing homelessness  
  • Children receiving services through the Emergency Foster Care Bridge Program 
  • Children of domestic violence survivors  

OR 

If you are an essential worker in the following sectors:

  • Health Care Services
  • Emergency Services
  • Food and Agriculture
  • Child Care and/or Education
  • Critical Infrastructure
  • State or Local Government
  • Energy
  • Transportation and Logistics
  • Communications and/or IT
  • Critical Manufacturing, Hazardous Materials, Financial Services, and Chemical Industries

AND

are unable to work remotely

AND 

are in need of child care in order to perform the essential work

Child is eligible for child care from age 0 – 12 years old 

OR 

13 years old – 20 years old IF child has special needs whose IEPs or IFSPs include Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) services 

You may qualify for child care payment assistance

To apply, using a desktop or laptop computer (mobile devices are not recommended), fill out the application online below, save, and and either email or print and mail to the offices outlined below depending on where you live
