In addition, if you live in Fremont, Hayward, Union City, or Unincorporated areas of Alameda County AND you meet current eligibility guidelines, you may be eligible for our Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP). Participants in this project receive free, individualized coaching, consultation, and technical assistance on business practices, enhancing your home environment, and a wide variety of other topics related to children and child care. Staff members can also assist you with the licensing expansion process, helping you complete the application. Participants receive financial incentives, such as reimbursements for business costs, safety items, equipment, early education materials, and professional development costs. All aspects of the program are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese
According to a recent CCIP participant: "I really enjoyed my time as a CCIP participant. I came away with new ideas and different ways to implement them. I loved it!"
